So by now most everyone knows that I love to travel and help people while doing it. For me traveling is all about seeing things in a new light and breaking down the walls of narrow-mindedness that exist in our society. There is so much more to the world than the United States. I'm creating this blog so everyone can keep up with my adventures and begin to break down their own wall of narrow-mindedness through my encounter with all the amazing people of this world. Next Friday I'll be leaving for 5 amazing weeks. I'll get to learn, serve, and explore-the three things I love! The first week I'll be living with a host family in the capital city of Quito and taking a Spanish class at a local school. The second two weeks I'll be volunteering in a fishing town, Puerto El Morro. Then for the next two weeks I'll be exploring all Ecuador has to offer! I am so excited to see the country and get to know its people. 7 days!!!
